For the first four years of their existence the Red Wings were called the Cougars, and for three of those years their jerseys were white with a red chest stripe. Bastian's concept takes inspiration from those jerseys, it also uses a vintage version of the winged-wheel logo, and places the sleeve numbers on the shoulders. The end result looks great!
